As part of the 60th anniversary of Ghana Cocoa Board, Wienco donated 25,000 pieces of safari hats for distribution to staff and farmers.

Cocoa Abrabopa Association (CAA)
All preparations are near completion for the relocation of CA staff to the new Dunkwa office of the CAA. Many more staff – both technical and Administrative – have been employed and most have already undergone refresher courses at Bunso in order to prepare them for the challenges ahead.

As part of its resolve to provide field service and solutions to farmers, a new Technical Agronomist has been employed who will see to field trials and demonstrations for both existing and new products so farmers have easy access to results of practical demonstrations whilst they also participate.

Establishment of Yara Ghana Limited
As a result of the strong partnership established between Wienco Ghana Ltd and Yara International over the years and the potential growth existing in the Ghanaian market, the office of Yara Ghana Limited has been established since June 2007.
